Seasoned Rice

Seasoned Rice - A perfect Side Dish
You love easy, fantastic spiced side dishes as I do? Then this deliciously seasoned rice is the best choice for your next meal or as a basis for your favorite bowl meal.
You don't need sauce for rice
When it comes to rice, I always wanted to have a tasty one without of need for a sauce. Because just white plain rice cooked in salty water or broth is kind of boring without a wonderful creamy sauce.
This rice recipe is full of rich flavors like the warm and earthy flavor from paprika powder, the heat from the cayenne pepper, and the salty and umami flavor from the soy sauce and not to forget the great taste of garlic!
Because the rice is browned in butter and cooked in broth this side dish is also called pilaf.
The secret of the right consistency of a great pilaf is to choose the right rice and to leave it alone while it’s cooking.
Once you’ve tried this fabulous recipe, you don’t want to eat boring plain white rice again!
Expert Tip
Use a deep lidded pan with a heavy bottom to cook the rice because those are proved ideal for even heat distribution and so the rice doesn’t burn easily.
Avoid wild stirring while the rice is cooking to release as little starch as possible – that’s the secret to keeping the rice loose.
